Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

A respectable pizza, no more, no less. Had the Big G deal with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushrooms on one side and ham, bacon, and pineapple on the other side (the wife insists on adding sweet stuff to her pizza - why I don't know). This was a Detroit style square pizza. The crust was tasty but just a touch burnt. The sauce was a good balance between sweet and tangy. My toppings were quite good, and I refused to sample the other side. We had no issues with the service. I arrived about 3 minutes after the pizza was promised, and it was ready to go. In the end, I think Buddy's is a better choice for Detroit style. Of course, Buddy's costs more too. Perhaps we will try a hand tossed from Guido's in the future. Guido's is good pizza just not quite great pizza in my book.

I've really tried to like these guys, but their service is awful. Put on hold 4 times for at least 10 minutes each tonight. I've had previous problems with them not getting the order correct and delivering the wrong items to my home. Tonight after waiting over a half hour to place the order, I was told I was no longer in their delivery area! I live about 4 miles away. I ended up ordering from another establishment I hadn't used previously . Service was prompt and the pizza delicious. Btw .... This is the first bad review I've ever written on yelp.

I've tried this place 3-4 times and found service to be slow and lacking attention to the customer. My visit yesterday was most likely my last. I don't mind if carry out places get anticipated times wrong IF they are cranking out pizzas. On this occasion there was two patrons served in front of me, and to my knowledge nobody was behind me. When The counter person reappeared and asked about my order, he found it was ready in the staging area. I feel this person spaced out and my order was sitting ready for some time.

Placed an online order at lunch for a 5:15PM pick up. We got there and they had no record of the order. They kept insisting that we placed the order with another location until we showed them the email receipt we received. (See attached picture) This was my first ever experience with Guido's and unfortunately my last. Waste of my time.

2 stars are based on the service not the pizza. Pizza is average. Nothing special. Hope they change their process since it's the closest pizza place to the house.

I live half way between Buddys and Guidos. I have always been a buddy's fan, however, it can be pricey and depending on what day it is and who is making the pie, it can be very inconsistent. The Chicago style pie at Guidos is excellent. I have had about 5 of them. Each time they have been great. On line ordering is easy and they do deliver. Sometimes delivery can be slow! One time on a Saturday, I had to call and check on my order. They guy on the phone was honest and said they were far behind. He said my pie was on the way out the door as we spoke. 5 minutes later the bell rang. This place is legit.

Called in a delivery took over an hour and a half to get the order. The bread was burned. Nothing was right so no more. The order was completely wrong. Never again.

Sent me home with the wrong pizza. Said they would make a new one but gave me my original order, which was cold by the time I got it home. Had I not checked the box before leaving the second time, i would have taken home a second wrong pizza. Instead of giving me my money back, they gave me my next one free, which will never happen. Kind of a haul for me anyway, which didn't help the matter.

Had a delivery order for my sons birthday party just recently. They forgot the sauce for the bread. I called them immediately so they could send me the missing item and they told me they were too busy to fix my order. The manager apologized and told me that he would give me a $5 voucher for my next order. A week later I made a delivery order and asked for the $5 voucher. The manager told me that they couldn't honor it. So I called one of the owners (female) to make a complaint and she was very rude. She constantly cut me off and told me that she was too busy to deal with the issue and that I could have a free side of sauce for my next order. As soon as I told her that I was a business owner and I didn't agree with her she finally gave me the $5 voucher. Dont get me wrong I do like their pizzas and I've been a loyal customer for awhile but I will never spend another cent at their establishment ever again. They can keep their $5 voucher! Worst customer service ever!!!

Best pizza I have ever had...top shelf. I eat a lot of pizza and this hands down is at the top of my favorites. I had it with the spicy sauce and it was well worth it. Can't wait to eat here again. Owner took my order and was very nice. This will be where I eat from now on when I'm in the area.

Came here today with a coworker after doing some datalogging on his car :D First time at a Guido's. We ordered the $10 medium deep dish. Arrived somewhat quickly for a deep dish, and at first glance looked to be somewhat small. However, upon devouring it was very yummy - good sauce and and plenty for the two of us. My last slice is sitting in the fridge, as out of my three pieces I was only able to finish two. However I am 130 lbs. and tend not to eat tremendously, and a human of larger size and appetite would probably want moar pizza. It certainly is a cut above the standard pizza chains. Delicious and convenient, we will be returning. :)

I can't help it. I love pizza. No, I mean I really love pizza. I love the process of making a good pizza and the people that work at pizza joints. They are of their own breed. Pizza places are like a tattoo parlor with delicious food instead of ink and torture. With that said, I'm sure this will be a 1st to a list of new pizza place reviews. As part of our relocation disaster to the Auburn Hills area, we had to stay in a number of hotels. The last stay was at the Springhill Suites, whose driveway happens to be right across from the Guido's Pizza drive. Convenient, since kid and I were yearning for a fresh pizza experience. New town + new pizza = bliss. Delivery had ended minutes before our order had been placed. Back in Midland, this would have been the end of the delivery discussion. However, I guess since they could literally run to our hotel room from their place of business, they bent the rules. Shortly after placing said order, pizza arrived fire hot and frankly the best topped pizza I've had in a very long time. Skimping on toppings is not in the books here. The "works" included fantastically julienned veggies, fresh mushrooms and big pieces of ham and pepperoni. We also ordered the Greek salad. Now we're talking feta heaven, with a fresh sliced Roma tomato on top, and crisp mild pepper rings. Omitted by choice were the beets, onions and olives. I didn't care for the sweet Greek dressing, so the second time around we chose ranch. Decision maker, go Guido's. Franchise or not, it's good pizza at a fair price, with personable employees.

This place is super close to the Palace in a new strip. I definitely recommend going there if you are going to a show because the Post Bar is so packed. I felt it was average. The ambience is clean and sporty and the menu is typical of most pizza places. I did enjoy the fact that they had a variety of sauces for the bread, but for the price, the bread was way too tiny. Good, but tiny. The fire roasted sauce was crazy yummy though. Me and the man got large subs which were a good price but average at best. I did enjoy the fact that they took the time to sprinkle some oregano on them though. I also was not a fan of the fact that they used Kraft dressing. Ick. But for pre-Palace food, definitely an easy pick.

I purchased carryout 2 times now and both times, we had to wait because the pizza order wasn't timed with the personal mostacholli order. As a result, the pizza was cold. The mostacholli wasn't anything like the one in Oxford. There was so little cheese on it you could see through it (on the portion that actually had cheese on the noodles). There was so little sauce it was completely dry. It was awful. The bread was good. I'm not sure we'd go back again.
